Terms of service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
These terms govern your booking and participation in tours and rentals offered by RO MOTO TOURS SRL, trading as Nomad Moto Tours ("we", "us", "our"), registered at Bd. Râmnicu Sărat nr. 18, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania — Trade Register no. J2025044157004, Fiscal code / CUI 52002535 (not registered for VAT) — operating nomadmototours.com. You can reach us at contact@nomadmototours.com or +40 748 885 529. By placing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. Booking & payment
1.1 A reservation is confirmed only once the online deposit is successfully paid. The deposit percentage is shown at checkout and varies per tour.
1.2 The remaining balance is paid in person at the tour/rental start location before departure. Access to the tour may be refused if the balance is unpaid.
1.3 Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. RO MOTO TOURS SRL is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the listed prices.
2. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed entirely by our Refund policy. In short: refunds are available only for cancellations made at least 21 days before the tour start date.
3. Rider requirements
3.1 Every rider must hold a valid motorcycle licence accepted for riding in Romania, and must carry it during the tour.
3.2 Riders must wear appropriate protective gear (at minimum an approved helmet) at all times while riding.
3.3 You must be physically and medically fit to ride. You are responsible for disclosing any condition that could affect your safety or that of others.
3.4 Riders must be at least 24 years old.
4. Safety & conduct
4.1 Participants must follow the guide's instructions and obey all local traffic laws.
4.2 Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
4.3 We may, at our sole discretion, exclude any rider who behaves dangerously, erratically, or irresponsibly, without refund, as set out in the Refund policy.
5. Motorcycles & equipment
5.1 Where a motorcycle is provided, you agree to treat it with reasonable care and return it in the condition received, aside from normal wear.
5.2 You are responsible for damage, loss, or fines caused by your negligence, misuse, or breach of these terms or of traffic law.
5.3 Security deposit. Before the tour or rental begins, we hold a security deposit of €1,000 per rider (the "guarantee"). It is held until the tour or rental is complete.
5.4 The deposit is returned in full at the end, provided the motorcycle and gear are returned in the same condition in which they were handed over, allowing for normal wear.
5.5 If the motorcycle or gear is damaged, lost, or returned in worse condition, we deduct the cost of repair or replacement from the deposit. You will be given the mechanic's invoice / bills as proof of the cost.
5.6 If the cost to repair the damage exceeds €1,000, we reserve the right to recover the additional amount from you, and you agree to pay the excess above the deposit.
6. Insurance
Motorcycle touring carries inherent risk. We strongly advise every participant to hold personal travel and medical insurance covering motorcycling activities. Participation is at your own responsibility.
7. Assumption of risk & liability
7.1 You acknowledge that motorcycling involves inherent risks of injury, damage, or loss, and you participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from risks inherent to motorcycling, from your own acts or omissions, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Changes & force majeure
Routes, schedules, and itineraries may be adjusted for weather, safety, or other reasons beyond our control. We will always aim to provide the best possible alternative. We are not liable for delays or changes caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, road closures, strikes, natural events).
9. Consumer rights & complaints
9.1 Because our tours and rentals are leisure services provided on a specific date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (EU Directive 2011/83, Art. 16(l); Romanian OUG 34/2014). Cancellations are instead governed by our Refund policy.
9.2 If you have a complaint we could not resolve directly, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Intellectual property
All content on nomadmototours.com — text, images, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reused without permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Romanian courts.
